Featured Work
Convergence
A struggle to release myself from my own psychodrama, praying to be less self-centered, more present, and more able to truly process what is currently happening in the US. The painting is infused with a battle against narcissistic personality disorder and creation of momentum towards real peace, health, and coexistence.

Hummingbird Racer
18” x 24” mixed media on paper
The work depicts two characters attempting to escape from an octopus-like creature.
The unfinished look of the work is inspired by the feel of creating reality, as in a dream. The matter materializes and evaporates before and behind the eye.

Mixed media- Watercolor marker, graphite, ink
Future Landscaping
18” x 24” mixed media on paper
The work is a free improvisation that plays with perception. Connections between foreground and background are made with both line and color.
The piece was made while contemplating the different planes of existence within the temporal realm. The temporal layer in which I resides defines me more truly than job, appearance, or even personality.

Underwater Formation
Here I wished to create a mermaid treasure or perhaps a sacred spot at the bottom of the sea.

Looking
Down
The story is of a lion in the clouds pouring into this head. The head has a range of emotion that goes from gently happy to deeply sad. The head that has been emptied and filled by the lion has lost pieces of itself.

Watercolor marker, ink, graphite on 18” x 24” paper
The Walk
The piece started and finished as pure abstraction during an art residency at D’Clinic Studios in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary. However, upon finishing it, I immediately wanted to call it “The Walk”.
I see a parade of prancing, bionic forms with heads and spines separating. We are a parade marching, slinking, dancing toward dispersal into space.

Shadow
God
Forces clashing in space.
A piece of nebula.
A glittering gem, a colorful mineral.
Two warriors, one with sword, one with shield.

Motion
A colorful apocalypse of destructive and constructive energies.
A playful and exhilarating space.
A three-dimensional outing.
An adventure park for the eyes.

Stormy Women
A sensual exploration of depth and texture. The forms seem to float off of the canvas. A portal to the woman inside.
